|To Rohallion Protest
I would be willing to object to Perth and Kinross Council as described below if the planning application or similar is resubmitted.
Proposed Development, Erection of 49 holiday lodges at Rohallion Loch Birnam. Ref no: 06/00758/FUL
I wish to object to this application on the grounds that:
1) It would have an adverse impact on the landscape character of the Dunkeld National Scenic Area and is therefore incompatible with policy 18 of the adopted Highland Area Local Plan.
2) It would be damaging to the setting of Rohallion Lodge and Loch which have landscape and historical significance comparable to the Historic Garden and Designed Landscape of Murthly Castle protected under policy 19 of the adopted Highland Area Local Plan.
3) It will damage the setting of, and outlook from, Birnam Hill which is of national and international importance.
4) It will damage the wildlife and bio-diversity of the area.
The above objections are of course based only on the limited information submitted with the present incomplete application and I reserve the right to alter or expand these objections when the environmental impact statement and other details become available.
